The appropriate way to celebrate your completion of Bioshock Infinite
(Spoilers, duh)
But seriously though, it was so bittersweet, like finishing a really good book. I fought so hard with such desperate speed whilst trying to rescue Elizabeth from being tortured. I destroyed Mechanized Patriots, took down Handymen, unleashed the horrors of all my vigors upon Comstock’s remaining forces. I shot down Zeppelins from the sky, and sprinted towards “the hand of the prophet” alongside Elizabeth with revenge in our hearts and redemption on our minds. And then, I never expected the crushing loss of Elizabeth’s first friend, even less so that it took place in an all too familiar underwater city, when she said “let go”, I think she was talking to all three of us. Then the revelations came, and putting an end to “Comstock” was satisfying but hollow, knowing that the Elizabeth we knew would also cease to be. Then the credits and that fantastic music rolled, I quickly checked the Wiki to make sure I had understood everything, and it turns out I did. When the epilogue came, I both shed a tear and smiled, and wished Booker and Anna the best of luck in their new lives. Out of all the infinite universes and possibilities, the game ended on the best one.
Then I realized I played from 11 at night to 9 in the morning so I went to bed and celebrated completing Bioshock Infinite just like the picture above depicts^
